Here at Amazing Grace Nursery, we know that a baby’s first instinct is to explore and discover the world around them, therefore our baby room is catered for them to do just that! We have an arrangement of age appropriate toys, sensory and heuristic items and accessible equipment for them to get involved in!

Our Baby Room is inviting, comfortable and exciting all rolled into one. The baby room provides low level resources for the children to explore with ease. We have a Heuristic Area along with an ICT Area, Construction & Small World, Home Corner, Book Area and Physical Area - with plenty of equipment and resources to enhance and support babies’ physical development from an early age.

Our babies have a separate room where they eat their meals, with low level table and high chairs where necessary. Staff sit with the babies helping them to eat, encouraging them to eat their meals and supporting learning to feed themselves (where age appropriate.)

In addition to the Eating Area, this room is also adapted into a Messy Room- with sand, water, dough, paint and various tuff tray messy activities provided for the babies to get involved in with under the influence that young babies learn best through sensory exploration and experiences.
